The Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara host several events during the year in the efforts to encourage community fundraising and provide cancer patients in our community with events to celebrate life. These events benefit the programs and services at Ridley-Tree Cancer Center.

Barbara Ireland Walk and Run for Breast Cancer

The 2018 Barbara Ireland Walk and Run took place on Saturday, March 17 and featured 5K, 10K, and 15K course options which began and ended at Chase Palm Park, in beautiful Santa Barbara. 100% of the proceeds benefited breast cancer research, genetic counseling and patient navigation programs at the Cancer Center. Learn More >

Rancheros Visitadores

For seven years in a row, the Rancheros are partnering with Wrangler Jeans and the Tough Enough to Wear Pink Foundation to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer patients at Ridley-Tree Cancer Center. This years event will take place on Saturday, May 5 at 3:00pm in downtown Solvang. Save the date for this inspirational affair featuring 750 Rancheros Visitadores on horseback as they parade in pink through downtown Solvang to Old Mission Santa Inés. Learn More >

Viva La Vida

All cancer patients and survivors in the tri-county area are invited to attend the Cancer Center’s annual celebration of life - Viva la Vida, on June 2, 2018 at Santa Barbara City College, West Campus. Viva la Vida is open to all cancer patients, survivors, their family and friends as a way to celebrate life with food, fun, games, crafts, live music and more. Learn More >

Cancer Center Walk/Run

In October, participants take to the streets of Montecito for the 5K and 10K Cancer Center Walk/Run. All funds generated by this event support the Cancer Center’s Clinical Research Program. This event is a family friendly affair with a 1-mile Kids' Fun Run and a post-race brunch buffet and raffle. Learn More >
