The Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara host several events during the year in the efforts to encourage community fundraising and provide cancer patients in our community with events to celebrate life. These events benefit the programs and services at Ridley-Tree Cancer Center.

Barbara Ireland Walk and Run for Breast Cancer

The 2018 Barbara Ireland Walk and Run took place on Saturday, March 17 and featured 5K, 10K, and 15K course options which began and ended at Chase Palm Park, in beautiful Santa Barbara. 100% of the proceeds benefited breast cancer research, genetic counseling and patient navigation programs at the Cancer Center. Learn More >

Rancheros Visitadores

For seven years in a row, the Rancheros have partnered with Wrangler Jeans and the Tough Enough to Wear Pink Foundation to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer patients at Ridley-Tree Cancer Center. This years event was an inspirational affair featuring 750 Rancheros Visitadores on horseback parading through downtown Solvang. Learn More >

Viva La Vida

All cancer patients and survivors in the tri-county area are invited to attend the Cancer Center’s annual celebration of life. The 2018 event took place on June 2 at Santa Barbara City College, West Campus. Viva la Vida is open to all cancer patients, survivors, their family and friends as a way to celebrate life with food, fun, games, crafts, live music and more. Learn More >

Cancer Foundation Walk/Run

The 2018 Cancer Foundation Walk/Run will take place on October 21, 2018 at Montecito Union School. The event features a new 5K, 10K course and Kids' Fun Run. All funds generated by this event support the Cancer Center’s clinical research and patient supportive care programs.
