Surgical Oncology Treatment Information
At Ridley-Tree Cancer Center, our surgical oncologists are a part of highly specialized, multidisciplinary cancer teams that provide comprehensive evaluation, treatment planning and surgical approaches to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Our surgical oncologists provide services throughout all stages of cancer, from prevention through diagnosis, resection, rehabilitation and ongoing monitoring through survivorship.

Surgical Oncology department specializes in treating various types of cancer including:

Gastrointestinal Cancer Program
Our fellowship-trained surgical oncologist performs minimally invasive cancer surgery
including robotic esophageal, liver, colorectal and pancreas resections.
The Ridley-Tree Cancer Center is a high volume pancreatic surgery center based on the
Leapfrog Group’s guidelines.
Breast Cancer Program
Ridley-Tree Cancer Center’s breast surgeon collaborates with a full breast care team
including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, patient
navigators and other support staff to provide prompt, compassionate diagnostic services
and comprehensive care.
The
Surgical Oncology Program is based at the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center for outpatient
care and at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for inpatient care.
