Library Resources During COVID-19

Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in our community, we have made the difficult decision to once again temporarily close the Resource Library. Though the Library will be closed to visitors, resources will continue to be available.

For information regarding a cancer diagnosis, we encourage you to see our online InfoGuides. These guides contain links to recommended websites and are available for several cancer types and many cancer-related topics.

If you would like to check out books, CDs, or DVDs, please contact us and materials can be mailed to you along with a prepaid mailing packet for returns. We follow strict handling guidelines for the safety of our patrons.

If you have materials to be returned, please hold onto them until the Resource Library reopens or request a prepaid mailing packet.

We can be reached at or (805) 879-5648.

The Cancer Resource Library offers a comfortable place where patients and families can find current, comprehensive information about all aspects of cancer. Lending Library – We have an extensive collection of books, DVDs, and CDs on a variety of cancer-related topics available for checkout.

Information Guides – Online guides are available for a variety of diagnoses and topics.

Brochures – Brochures and pamphlets are available free of charge.

Computers – Patients and caregivers are welcome to use the library’s computers during their time at the Cancer Center.
